Building Character Through Competition
At TDA, the high value we place on our athletics program reflects our philosophy that we learn about aspects of the Lord in everything we do, including sports. Teamwork, camaraderie, winning well, losing well, and working hard, all help shape our character.
Athletics are another great vehicle to teach life lessons about leadership, teamwork, servanthood, respect, and more. Participating in various sports and athletic activities give students practice in how to deal in a godly way with winning and losing, relationships and honoring one another.
Competing With Purpose
Building Character Through Competition
At TDA, athletics are about more than the game. Through practices, competition, teamwork, and perseverance, our students learn to work hard, encourage one another, and grow in character. From PE classes to competitive teams, we encourage every student to use their abilities to honor the Lord and represent Him well—both on and off the field.

What Families Are Saying
At Daniel School, we are dedicated to nurturing both the hearts and minds of our students. Hear from parents and students who have experienced the difference of a Christ-centered education and a supportive community.
As a parent of a TDA graduate, and 2 current high students, I can’t say enough positives about our TDA experience! Our children have loved learning and growing in this environment with their marvelous comrades and the excellent faculty. TDA has become an important part of our family history together.

I went from reading one verse a day to ten chapters a day. However, I truly believe that this blast shifted the way I view and practice my faith.. As time went on, I began to read the Bible in a way I never had before. I began to fall in love with the poetic words that deeply resonated with me; and I had a whole new appreciation for the word of God. I started going to it when I was stressed or sad.

James has now become my favorite book in the Bible. It is crazy to see how many relatable passages there are and little phrases that I have begun to say through the day that really help me…. I love the challenge of reading the Word and journaling and really discovering meanings behind the passages I am reading.
