The Daniel Lifestyle
As a Christian school, our method and approach to education is to partner with families who want to raise their children in the Daniel Lifestyle.
We seek to activate students who are well-educated and trained in both academics and spiritual understanding, having cultivated pure hearts and been given discernment to walk in positions of influence (Daniel 1:4).

Educating Hearts, Minds, and Souls
At The Daniel Academy, education goes beyond textbooks. We guide our students to see God’s hand in every subject, from science and math to literature and leadership. Here, learning is an act of worship, and every class is an opportunity to explore the Creator through His creation. Our teachers help students connect faith with academics, uncover their purpose, and gain real-world skills — all while cultivating a deep, personal relationship with God.
Nurturing a Deep Relationship with God
Living In Prayer and Worship
Daily worship assemblies and intentional prayer times throughout the day help students develop a deep connection with God. From K-12, students engage in prayer, Bible study, and worship. Families are also encouraged to pray together weekly, fostering a strong faith community at home and in the city.
Real-World Skills for Real-World Impact
Our hybrid internship model gives students valuable hands-on experience while learning basic work skills and contributing to meaningful projects. At the end of the internship, students earn graduation credit and gain resume-worthy experience, listing specific products or projects they've worked on—preparing them for future academic or professional endeavors.
Explore Your Purpose with Specialized Opportunities
High school students can explore their unique callings through various class offerings and opportunities designed to guide their passions and career interests. Students are exposed to diverse fields, learning from passionate Christian mentors and gaining insight into their future paths.
Bible Classes That Bring the Word to Life
Students are encouraged to engage the Bible with age specific expectations. Elementary students might be given a verse or passion, asked to reflect on it, and then write or draw a response that the Lord gives to them. By the time they reach high school, students are expected to read, process, and journal on their own with weekly check-ins. Being able to engage with God and encounter Him in the Word is crucial.
Natural Wisdom: Seeing God in All Things
At The Daniel Academy, we guide students to discover God’s wisdom in all subjects, from math and science to literature and psychology. Through a mix of diverse classes, extracurricular activities, and a growing focus on entrepreneurship - students explore the Creator's design in their studies while gaining real-world skills in business and leadership.
Integrating Faith with Academics
At The Daniel Academy we train our students to seek the Lord even in the midst of taking classes and studying. We want to know the Creator and understand His creation as we study science, math, literature, writing, critical thinking, understanding of world views, leadership training, etc. Our teachers see an aspect of God’s nature within the subjects they teach and help our students to see that same aspect as they learn — the study of government starts with the study of the One who governs galaxies. The study of poetry begins as the study of the One who creates enigmas to search out. The study of psychology starts with the study of the One who created us uniquely for a purpose.
A Holistic Educational Experience
Part of our vision for helping our students to discover the Lord in their studies is also to expose them to a variety of different topics and emphases. We partially accomplish this through a diverse offering of classes, clubs, activities, and sports. Additionally, a primary focus of TDA in the coming years is on creating an entrepreneurial expression among our junior high and high school classes. We are creating programs that allow students to interact with real organizations in Kansas City and learn basic principles of business, economics, and marketing through hands-on training.
