About The Daniel Academy

The Daniel Academy is a Christian private school located in Kansas City, Missouri. It was established in 2007 with K-12, but has since grown a vibrant Pre-K (Little Daniels) and daycare (Daniel Daycare), now offering the entire age spectrum from just a few weeks old through high school graduation.

Classroom instruction occurs 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday) with a 'school at home' day on Friday. Our hope is to raise up modern day Daniels, modeled after the Biblical Daniel of the Old Testament. Daniel and his friends were leaders, reformers, who brought the Lord's heart and kingdom into Babylon. The Daniel Academy partners with families in the education process, allowing parents to directly participate at the school with their children. We currently serve 170 families with over 350 students.

Kingdom Living

We believe our students are called to a vibrant and deep walk with the Lord, built on prayer, worship, and the Word. As God’s Kingdom moves across the earth, we partner with local expressions in Kansas City.

Families and staff commit to one hour of corporate prayer weekly at places like YWAM and local churches. At school, students lead morning worship, pause midday for intercession, and end with thanksgiving prayers. These rhythms have deeply impacted their hearts over the years.

We have been privileged to interact with a number of great men and women of God and allow our students to glean from their teaching and experiences. We have also had local city leaders including senators, doctors, businessmen, pastors and other professionals speak to our students about how to bring impact wherever the Lord sends them. We know this generation of youth is called to great things and we focus on helping them discover their gifts, talents and callings. We pray and counsel one-on-one with all our seniors, helping them map out their next steps.

We believe today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders. By exploring new opportunities, they discover their gifts and learn to lead.

Beyond academics, we offer drama, sports, clubs, and leadership roles in worship, student government, and the arts. Our school provides a safe, nurturing environment where students grow in wisdom and confidence.

Specialized classes give them a taste of future careers, including entrepreneurship, photography, music and film production, home improvement, web design, and content creation.
